First Devlog


Never written a devlog but thought I'd give it a try.

This is sort of Build 0.1.6

v0.1
- Base Project with default assets and a basic player controller, no enemies

v0.1.1
- Added placeholder sprites for player by Immunity, and background by Deep-Fold
- Added shooting, without collision. Bullet particle by BDragon1727
- Added a boss placeholder with the Godot sprite

v0.1.2
- Added collision for boss and bullet
- Edited and added Audio by Not Jam
- Added impact particle by BDragon1727 for bullets hitting the boss 
- Added hitflash for the boss upon getting hit
- Added stage asset by skyquee (No boundaries yet)

v0.1.3
- Found placeholder boss sprite by Papoy Core
- Added boss health bar
- Added camera panning
- Added camera shake
- Added dash to player

v0.1.4
- Added ghost effect to dash
- Added boss shake
- Added boss dying
- Added more FX for the boss dying

v0.1.5

- Over 20 hours of code refactoring (A lot of learning)
- Added boss name to health bar
- Finally version control, I wasn't sure I'd work on this for long before so I didn't do it til then

v0.1.6
- Added health bar damage tween

- Added boss name typing effect
- Updated new stage asset by skyquee
- Finally added stage boundaries
- Z axis works now
- Centred a lot of nodes
